Here are my favorite Postpartum Healing teas :
Equal Parts of:
Rosemary
Lavender
Louissa
Arnica
Chamomile
Ruta
Basil
Elderberry
Lemon grass
Zanzibar tea
You can put them all in one pot or ,If you don't have all of these teas, then any combo will do.
Just leave a steeping pot on the counter and sip on it all day.
WOMB WARMING FOODS
Bone broth, chicken soup or miso soup
are high in collagen, which is vital for restoring and rebuilding tissues postpartum. These soups have vitamins, minerals and electrolytes that energize, balance hormones, boost the immune system and heal the gut.
Lightly steamed spinach and kale -
with some rice is full of minerals and fiber that aid in bowel movements that can be trying after birth.
Eggs-
help with blood clotting , and promote healthy blood flow, a soft boiled egg can be quite soothing .
Oats- combat postpartum constipation
Salmon - is your all around Super food
Rich in B12, D, Omega 3, fatty acids and DHA
Dark Berries-
Reduce inflammation, full of antioxidants, add them to your bowl of oatmeal in the morning ,yum.
In general,eat foods that are soothing, your digestive system will thank you.
TIME
Shift your mindset to slow motion
Remember you're building a new foundation.
You are moving from Contraction to Connection.
Connecting with your new body and your new baby.
You've been given a new lease on life.
Let go of the dirty dishes, laundry, beds, and learn to navigate
This emotional, physical, and psychological new world.
So, get lots of help.,
It does not have to be a night nurse, it could be someone just to do the light tidying up,
So you ,can care for your baby and you!

Vaginal steaming and deep massage.
Called the "Bone closing ceremony"
Performed the first time ten days after birth and then ideally twice after ,during the 1st month.
"A WOMAN THAT RECEIVES CARE CAN GIVE SO MUCH MORE TO HER CHILDREN"
The bone closing ceremony is highly recommended.
Have a massage -you'll love it!
Focus on self love
RESET
Trigger the parasympathetic nervous system.
Get some sunshine, fresh air, stretch, sleep, hygiene, and take care of your pelvic floor!
Lots of ice packs in the "right location" is life saving.
Start immediately caring for your PC muscles by doing daily pelvic floor tilts and bridges,
And of course kegels .
Finding your way to wellness ,will be a healing journey.
Discovering a new way to restore will be a challenge.
Remember it's a physical and mental balance and you've just birthed a baby!
